Our family already had 3 pace 500 (gen1) and have 3000 plus miles on 2 of them. We love the upright riding style of the pace but I was interested in the torque sensor of the level.
I went to the LBS (small planet bikes where I purchased all my Aventons from) and test rode both the newest generations of the pace and level. I still prefer the upright riding style of the pace but enjoyed the torque sensor on the level.
So decided on the level but had the stem and handlebars switched out to a more upright style of the pace. Not the same but closer enough.
I currently have 65 miles on first charge and still have 32% charge left. All my riding has been in the hilly terrain north of San Antonio. The ride is very smooth and really enjoy how the assist feature comes on riding the level.
So far happy with level2.

I’ve always liked bike riding but wanted something that allowed me to ride longer without losing stamina. My husband is a cyclist and now I can go on long rides with him! Even riding with just the lowest assist level gives me the energy to ride longer. This bike is really smooth, love the suspension features and the lights. The battery is long lasting and I’ve been able to go almost 60 miles per charge. The ride is smooth and comfortable and the torque sensor is a great feature. I would never have considered myself a cyclist, but I do now!

We definitely made the right decision on our first electric bike purchase. I did a good bit of research and Aventon bikes were always rated at the top on different electric bike publications. We love them. Easy to assemble and absolutely 0 problems with either bike.

The bike came with everything I wanted. The only thing I wish was the seat was a little more comfortable but beyond that it’s a great bike

We finally had a nice day that it was dry out for me to take my new e-bike for a ride to see how it rides
it was awesome , And I was very surprised of how fast the power kicks in when you need it going up a hill I can't wait till spring to be able to ride a lot more.
